Thank you for your coming

Nearly a week has passed, we finally released, so we decided that this is some new good fortune of time. From our wealth in the past six days to eat dozens of cookies, where the highlights:

"Your hard work is about to pay off. Congratulations!"

"Someone is interested in you. Keep your eyes open."

"Opportunity awaits you on next Tuesday."

"You have a charming way with words. Send email to a friend."

"The world will look a little better with some love given by you!"

Hillary: "'Cause I can't help it if I look like an angel,
Can't help it if I... wait... that's not how it goes..."

ingredients: wheat flour, water, sugar, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, egg, salt, sodium bicarbonate, natural & artificial flavor, fd & c yellow no. 5 & no. 6.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go;
Take a look in the five and ten glistening once again
With candy canes and silver lanes aglow.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Toys in ev'ry store
But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be
On your own front door.

You wouldn't believe the snow. And the frigid temperature.
We try to look on the bright side of things - this means Christmas will be here before we know it!

"You would prosper in the field of wacky inventions."
"A romantic mystery will soon add interest to your life."

My smoothie was delicious - coconut is the key.

hillary told us a story. she was in the engineering building and heard a bunch of married men talking. she told us they were annoying. guess what they were talking about ? (long pause)

calculators. and their selling points.

we get fortune cookies everytime we leave the marketplace. some of our favorite fortunes include:

"Don't underestimate yourself. Your social skills are needed by others at this time."
"You will surround yourself with warmth and riches."
"You will be fortunate in everything you put your hands on." ;)
"The social scene can be fun today."
"Flowers would brighten the day of your close friend tomorrow."

we sent elder thatcher a whole bundle of these in a letter. hope he enjoys them.

my costa vida salad was delicious.

Communication is the Key to Life

CHEESE TASTE TESTING. Such a great opportunity. The lady that briefed us, (yes, we had a briefing) thought she was quite the comedian. The only time anyone ever laughed was when she would say, "People usually laugh at that." When we went in the testing center, there were several little booths. You'd open the little sliding door and a hand would appear and push the tray of cheese towards you. We were lucky and got mozzarella. They were all labeled with numbers. Ben's favorite was #739. Isaac's favorite was #975. And no, we didn't have to sample 975 pieces of cheese. We got free aggie ice cream out of it. Aggie blue mint was the flavor of choice.

Later that day, we, along with fours other music buddies, drove up to first dam in a small five person car. The beach up there is what we imagine Hawaii to be like. To make our excursion complete, we jumped off the bridge into the lake. We had a soggy ride back to THE TOWER OF TERROR (that's where we live) to hurry and change before symphony. Did we mention we skipped biology for this?

Ben didn't shower for 2 days. And he wore the same clothes the whole time. Night and day.

much love, ben & isaac

p.s. Isaac is learning how to play the piano-

He has sensitive eyes because his name is.... EYES-zick!

so we live in the music building. we're thinking about putting a couple of beds in the practice rooms. we're currently caught in the freshman fog, not really knowing where we belong or what we're supposed to do. but ya know, I guess that's how it goes. right? good thing we have a few cheerful people that don't have to practice 4 hours a day.

what do you do when food looks really good, but after you eat it, you feel like schradieck? I don't know if we can go through the cafeteria anymore. but we get hungry, and alas, we must eat.

we do like college though. for the most part. our RA looks like he's from bible times. I guess what we need is a good rainstorm.

much love, ben & isaac ........ and hillary

oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to T.O. ----- sorry we couldn't write a song for you. it doesn't mean we like you any less, we just don't have the incredible composing skills of some of the boys at BYU. but happy birthday. hope you had a great day!

I wish I liked Mahler as much as I like Cheesecake

Today we made a blog.

Also, for the third day in a row, Ben asked if it was a full moon/True Aggie night.
Note to Hannah: Be careful, he bites.
